Gala Ball Benefits Life-Saving Stillbirth Research

The 2023 Mercy Health Foundation Gala Ball, held this past May at the Plaza Ballroom, dazzled attendees, delivering a night of glamour, compassion and hope for a future free from stillbirth.

Guided by the charismatic Jennifer Keyte as MC, the event was a starlit affair where generous guests, draped in classic black and white ensembles, united in support of Mercy Perinatal’s groundbreaking stillbirth research.

This research aims to develop a blood test to detect ‘danger signals’ from the stressed placenta in pregnancies at high risk of stillbirth. Such at-risk babies could be safely delivered and provided with the medical attention they need.

The 2023 Mercy Health Foundation Gala Ball stands as a testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared vision of a safer future for mothers and babies.

The Gala Ball’s resounding success and impact would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our esteemed sponsors.

A heartfelt thank you to these sponsors for their generosity and dedication to advancing medical research and reducing the global tragedy of stillbirth.
